Maine InfoNet is a collaborative of academic, public, school, and special libraries that provides  leadership in resource sharing, promotes cost effective solutions for quality library information  services, and supports the cultural, educational, and economic development of Maine.

MaineInfonet includes:

MaineCat http://mainecat.maine.edu/
MaineCat Statewide Catalog combines and links more than 100 library collections contained in 10 large online library systems. A single search scans more than 4.6 million unique titles and nearly 8.9 million items.

Minerva http://minerva.maine.edu/
Minerva is a shared library system that brings together nearly 60 libraries of all types from across  the state. Minerva is self-governed by a Users Council and an Executive Board with technical  management and support provided by Maine InfoNet.

URSUS is a shared library system that brings together the seven University of Maine System libraries and combines them with the collections of the Bangor Public Library, the Maine State Library and the Maine Law and Legislative Reference Library. Together the URSUS collection provides access to over three million unique titles.

SOLAR
SOLAR enables libraries to make their holdings visible through the MaineCat Statewide Catalog and to participate in interlibrary lending with other MaineCat libraries.  To search for items from SOLAR Libraries, please search the MaineCat Statewide Catalog.

Maine's Virtual Library, provides every resident of Maine with free access to a collection of full text and abstracts from magazines, newspapers and reference books that are credible, reputable resources.

Ancestry Library Edition is a  new genealogy research tool that provides  library patrons instant access  to a wide range of resources for genealogical and historical research. Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the U. S.
